Welcome to Sailmaker Cottage, your home from home in the heart of Robin Hoods Bay. Sailmaker Cottage is a fully restored grade II listed cottage dating back from the mid 1800’s and located in the old village on Brig Garth being the old ‘Browns’ newsagents, opposite the Dolphin and within a minutes walk of the beach. Sailmaker Cottage has just been fully restored, is decorated and furnished to the highest standard with large leather sofa and 2 fireside chairs, rugs and cushions abound, 2 LCD flat screen televisions, home cinema system, and mood lighting, should you want that romantic night in. The walls are painted with Farrow and Ball heritage colours and the style of the cottage is contemporary and extremely comfortable. The cottage benefits from full gas central heating and 2 cast iron log burning stoves for those cold winter nights snuggled up by the fire. Open stone walls, old beams, exposed floorboards and rough plaster run hand in hand with traditional kitchens, contemporary shower rooms and WC’s. The accommodation is arranged over 3 floors comprising, large dining kitchen on the ground floor, first floor living room with French windows, first floor shower room and WC, and on the second floor there are two very comfortable bedrooms and a WC. The main bedroom having a double cabin bed with leather headboard, and built in oak wardrobes, the second bedroom having a triple bunk and wonderful rooftop sea views. The top floor WC also has a fab sea view! To the outside there are planters and a small bench to sit on. |
